This Messaging Policy explains the text-messaging (SMS/MMS) program operated by Going Merry LLC through the GoingMerryLine app (the “App”). It is part of our Terms of Use and should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Program description
Program (brand) name: GoingMerryLine, operated by Going Merry LLC.
GoingMerryLine is a mobile app that gives each subscriber a dedicated phone number for calling and texting. Through the App you can send and receive SMS and MMS messages from your assigned number, and you may receive transactional messages from us related to your account.
Types of messages you may receive
- Conversational messages — SMS/MMS that you and your contacts exchange using your assigned second number. These are initiated by you or by the people you choose to text.
- Account & verification messages — one-time verification codes and important account notices.
- Service notifications — alerts related to your number, calls, and messages (for example, an alert that you have a new message or a missed call).
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.
Consent & opt-in
You provide consent to receive the messages described above when you create an account, sign in with Apple, and enable the messaging and notification features in the App. Consent to receive account, verification, and service messages is part of using the service; we do not sell or rent your number, and we never require consent to marketing.
You are responsible for the conversational messages you send from your number and for having any consent required to message your own recipients under applicable law (such as the TCPA).
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on how you use the App and how often you and your contacts exchange messages.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Going Merry LLC does not charge a separate fee for individual messages beyond your App subscription.
Opting out — STOP
You can opt out of account and service messages at any time by replying STOP to any such message. You may also remove your number or disable notifications within the App. After you opt out, you may receive a single confirmation message, and we will stop sending non-essential messages to that number.

Privacy
We respect your privacy. No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in data and consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share data only with the service providers that help us deliver messaging (such as our telephony provider), and only as needed to carry your messages. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Supported carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the policies and conditions of mobile carriers and the public phone network.
